This is a gem for anyone interested in restoring a wood and canvas boat. It’s a 1953 Old Town 16’ Square Stern rowboat/skiff. The Old Town catalog indicates that this boat can be used with at 2.5 to 10 HP motor.

Most of the wood is in good shape. In addition to the outside gunwale, I’m seeing two ribs and a few planks that would need to be replaced before recovering in canvas. The brass/bronze fittings are all there including the stem and keel bands and original swivel oarlocks, the latter being rare and expensive to replace. The boat originally came with sponsons, but as is the case with many other canoes and boats, these were removed by their owners.

Price includes Shoreline trailer in very good condition. It needs to have wiring replaced or repaired.
