This Hayden, Idaho canoe is #748 built about 1948. The 17' hull has only minor scrapes and scratches, but the finish is original and all the tack heads are fully "dimpled" as they were when the canoe left the Willits shop. The decks exhibit minor cracking that can be easily repaired. The canoe is the standard Willits construction with red cedar outer and inner planks, mahogany trim, and spruce seats. One original upholstered seat back is included in the sale of this beauty.
