This is a 17' Guillemot design sea kayak, built from western red cedar and coated with 2 ounce fiberglass (extra layers in cockpit area). Includes a shaped removable wooden seat/backrest and adjustable foot rest.
The forward deck is slightly higher than in a standard Guillemot design, built it this way to give more foot room.
Deck has bungee cords around cockpit, and the deck has color stripes fore and aft, made with pigment infused in epoxy. Rope end loops. In excellent condition, has been periodically varnished with spar varnish. Weight is about 26 pounds. Great fun to paddle. Paddle is not included.
