This 15'4" ft canoe was built by me and my wife at Island Falls Canoe shop in Atkinson, Maine in 2008. Owner and world class instructor Jerry Stelmok worked us hard for a week in the construction. The rig was built over an 1889 EM White hardback. Depth- 12", Weight-65lbs, Beam- 34", We have used this canoe many times here in NY and Maine.The canoe is in excellent shape. Because of our advanced ages, we can no longer handle it. We now sit in the sunroom and admire it much as one would view a fine work of art.
