1963 Old Town OTCA
Original Sailing Rig
Documentation
$4350
Condition:
The canoe has been in our family for decades and was restored by my father in the early 1980s using original Old Town restoration materials purchased directly from the Old Town Canoe Company. Since then, it has been carefully stored indoors and has been well cared for. I also have a copy of the original build record. I have fond memories of sailing this canoe on the Fox River.
Included with the canoe are:
- Original factory sailing rig, mast
- Wooden paddles
- Original Old Town brochures and restoration literature
- 1981 Old Town restoration documentation and invoices
The canoe retains beautiful character and patina with very good interior woodwork, seats, decks, ribs and trim. The canvas shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with age, but the canoe has always been stored indoors. The canoe is currently stored overhead in my garage, so I have included the best photographs I can safely take. Additional photographs and an in-person inspection are available for serious buyers, and I will lower the canoe for interested purchasers.
