For sale is a pristine condition 17 foot prospector canoe made by former Chestnut employee Donald Fraser in Fredericton, NB.
Fraser bought several forms from Chestnut in 1979 when the company folded, including the 17ft prospector.
The canoe had a little restoration done 2 years ago by Headwaters canoes in Wakefield, Qc: 3 ribs, a bit of planking, new canvas with Butyrate filler, new outside gunwales.
Has seen very little water since restoration. Canoe is in top condition and ready for tripping.
