This is a 17' lapstrake solo canoe, built from marine plywood and fiberglass coated inside and out. It is based on a Guillemot kayak from the waterline down, but has a solo canoe upper works rather than a wraparound kayak deck.
The keel is white pine. The seat is included, and the seat-back is adjustable for angle and is removable for car-topping. Nice and light, easy to get in and out of, paddles very well. The footrest is adjustable. The paddle shown in the pictures is not included.
There is a built in carry handle at each end. The crossbars and the seat are made from Sitka Spruce. It has always been stored under cover when not in use.
