The canoe was professionally restored and only used once since. Its orignal Chestnut label was removed during restoration and a replacement label affixed. Ash yoke custom made following purchase. It features closely spaced steam-bent ribs, cedar planking covered with canvas, open wooden gunwales, orignal cane seating, hardwood thwarts.
