Excellent Restored

Old Town Otca 16' wood/canvas canoe, made in 1938, serial # 125853-16. It was completely restored in August 2020. The color is a deep Epifane green.

It's made with red cedar siding, white cedar ribs, spruce inner rails, ash outer rails, and birch seats, thwarts, and decks. The seats are caned by hand. It has Old Town's coaming style decks and a full keel. It was covered with the traditional 'mudded' and painted canvas like it did when it came from the factory, except the canvas was treated with a mildewcide to give it long life. It was covered with marine grade varnish and paint.

I have been restoring canoes since the early 80's, and always use traditional materials: silicon-bronze bolts, screws, and nails and brass tacks.

The Otca is an excellent paddling canoe, and with reasonable care will last many generations.

$2000, cash only please.
