Great for families and tripping.
This cedar-strip boat has an important history: She formed the mold for Swift Canoes’ solo/tandem tripper the Quetico, later re-named the Mattawa: 15’10” long; 34-1/2” at the beam; 13” depth. About 65 lbs. It is a boat for two paddlers (say up to 400 lbs) and their gear. Comes with solo kneeling thwart. Great stability for freestyle or Canadian style paddling or wind and waves. Sliding bow seat makes trim adjustments easy.
