Canoe Form – B N Morris 17’ Model 34A Type III (1908 reproduction)

Build your own canoe! This form was built by a WCHA member’s son with guidance from his father. (WCHA member Rolf Warncke “yeolwoodsman”.) The build is documented on the WCHA forum:

To my knowledge, only 4 canoes were built on this form. Rolf and his son built one, I built two (see included pictures) and my friend built one.

What’s Included:
17’ 6” canoe form with strongback (2x4 with bolts through form to hold ribs close to form).
Form for bending ends of inwales and outwales (also can be used to bend deck support board if long decks desired)
Form to bend inner and, if desired, outer stems.
Optional and at $100 extra: 4 - 18ft x 1” x 1” mahogany boards for use as inwales and outwales – You will need to shape/cut to spec.
