1946 Penn Yan Hunter – CL46298 (CL – hunter canoe; 46 – 1946; 298 - build number)
Canoe Length: 15’
If not rare, very hard to find a 1946 Penn Yan Hunter 15 ft canoe. During and after WWII, cane for the seats was not available and Penn Yan, Old Town and others constructed plywood seats. These seat frames do not have holes or groves for caning. As I wanted to keep original as much as possible, I stayed with the plywood seats.
