1942 Old Town Otca, 17 ft. Spruce gunwales, ash decks, cedar ribs and planking and keel. Old Town record shows canoe was constructed in 1942-43.
Condition: Two ribs are broken; small area of planking near rib break needs replacing. Slight wear on outwales and one tip is missing. Stem bands are steel instead of brass due to WW2 copper shortage. Seats need recaning. Hull needs recanvased. Except as noted, woodwork is in good condition but needs refinishing. Ribs and planking have been partially stripped. Located in Northern VA. To be sold as is for $900.
