Condition:
Excellent Restored
This 18’ Old Town Guide canoe is constructed in the premium AA grade (mahogany gunwales). Has optional half-ribs.
The canoe was professionally restored by Wooden Canoe Heritage Association President Michael Grace in Melbourne, FL in 2000-2002. It has been stored indoors since and was only floated by Dr. Grace for some post-restoration pre-delivery pictures. It is still in as-restored condition. His and hers Old Town logo paddles, new condition, included. Can furnish restoration correspondence from Dr. Grace on request, including pre-restoration condition and recommendations, receipt for work, and post-restoration care.
The canoe was a gift to my father from his mother in 1941 - a college graduation present. He gave it to me in turn in 1999. Now it is time for me to down-size and I reluctantly must let it go.
The pictures tell it all. More are available on request.
