PRICE REDUCED ! Also Known as a Penobscot River Salmon Wherry used to fish for Atlantic salmon. Built 2017, in excellent condition with only light use. Lines are from original wherry built by White Canoe Company. Very stable 16 foot length, 50” beam, and 15 inch depth midship, 25” height at decks. Two rowing stations, includes oar locks and one set oars, rows beautifully. Heavily built with 3/16” planking and 3/8” ribs of northern white cedar. Inside gunwales and seat rails are white spruce. Seats, seat knees, carrying thwarts, decks and outside rails are mahogany. Inside finished bright (varnished), Outside finished with clear West System epoxy over 2 layers 6 oz cloth for strength, and to accent natural cedar colors. Owner relocated to Montana and is selling because the boat is not well suited for Montana waters. Boat located in Montana, Transportation can be arranged. Price is considerably below initial cost.
