16' Old Town Canvas Rowing Canoe

Excellent Restored

Built in 1955, this practical, comfortable, all-purpose rowing canoe is easy to handle, handsome in appearance, and steady on the water. It has cedar ribs currently covered with red canvas, 2 center seats as well as seats in the bow and stern, a wooden back rest, 2 pairs of metal oarlocks (U shaped and round) and 4 oars — two 6 1/2' and two 7 1/2' long. The canoe was restored by Rollin Thurlow (Northwoods Canoe) in 1990, which included a modification of the stern to accommodate a small outboard motor, making the boat even more versatile. Its SN is 163973-16. It has been carefully stored indoors on a trailer. It is an ideal boat for the enjoyment of the whole family.

Condition: Excellent. Location: Mid-Coast Maine. Asking price $3,100 (includes trailer). Contact Meg at Ths@Box678.com or (c) 301.512-7205.
