Old Town
Sponson Canoe

Good Usable

Old Town Sponson 17ft. built in 1943. AA or top grade, heavy water model with open mahogany gunwales, mahogany decks, thwarts, and seats with replaced caning, a keel, sponsons, and a bang plate along the full length of the keel. I have owned it for 51 years. It was fiberglass covered in 1979 and has been kept in my garage. Last used in August 2019.

Two paddles

Two life jackets

Two original brass oar locks mounted on mahogany (not
currently attached to the canoe)
